CLSU is 4th top performing school in CPA exam
For obtaining a passing rate of 79% in the May 2010 Board examination for Certified Public Accountants, the Central Luzon State University-College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) landed No. 4 among schools nationwide with 10-25 examinees (Category D).
The national passing percentage 39%.
According to Prof. Rodrigo B. Lucena, Department of Accountancy, 19 out of 24 examinees from CLSU hurdled the examination. This feat also placed CLSU once again as the No. 1 performing school in Region III.
Dr. Danilo S. Castro, CBAA dean, attributes the very satisfactory performance of the graduates not only to their innate talent but also to the rigid admission requirements and examinations prescribed by the college and the overall training they get both from their academic and extra-curricular activities.
